Habiganj‌ ‌DC‌ ‌tests‌ ‌positive‌ ‌for‌ ‌Covid-19‌

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Habiganj district Mohammad Kamrul Hasan has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Habiganj Civil Surgeon Dr AKM Mostafizur Rahman said the test report of the DC was received from Dhaka on Sunday, which showed that he was infected with Covid-19. DC Kamrul's samples were sent for test again on Monday for further confirmation, the civil surgeon added.

 According to the district health department, the total number of people infected with the coronavirus in Habiganj district has reached 75. Among them, 23 are doctors, nurses and health workers, while eight are government officials and employees. The rest are people of different classes and professions. 

Habiganj is ahead of the remaining three districts under Sylhet division in terms of corona virus infections.
