In the age of the fourth industrial revolution, virtual reality (VR) is one of the most important technologies which will have a major impact in our daily lives in the coming years. Therefore, in order to learn how to work with it we need to go over to the very basics as well as learn the history and evolution of this technology to understand the possible impacts in the future. In this context, to educate and grow interest, EMK Center organized the webinar connecting students, youths as well as professionals, reads a press release.
Virtual reality is a three-dimensional computer programmed environment that can be explored and looks realistic to any object. Interaction medium for VR can be earphones, headsets, and gloves. This startling technology can be used at any place with proper internet facility. The well-known device for experiencing virtual reality is Oculus. They produce the best headsets in this industry. Their most popular model, the Oculus Rift can be accessible by connecting with a powerful computer.
Evolution of VR technology, use cases in different industries, different VR devices available in the market, pro's and con's of each devices and tools and Software required for this technology were the talking points of the webinar.
Tanvir Hossain Khan, CEO & managing director of Dreamerz Lab, conducted the session. The webinar was moderated by Md Ashfaqur Rahman, makerlab coordinator of EMK Center.

This industry has huge potential and is poised to have a far-reaching impact on the economy. The rising adoption of VR across several industries for various applications is fueling the growth of the market."
In conclusion, the necessity of virtual reality in undergraduate curriculum for students was mentioned by the moderator to create a huge impact with practical learning experience.
