4 ‘militants’ held in capital
The law enforcers recovered books, leaflets under their possession

The members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four suspected members of banned militant outfit Ansar Al Islam from capital's Kolyanpur area today.
The arrestees are Osman Bhuiya, 32, Ramzan Ali Chowdhury alias Ripon, 33, Tamimur Rahman, 26, and Solaiman Mia alias Babul.
Sajedul Islam Sajal, senior assistant police superintendent of RAB-4, said the arrestees confessed their involvement with the militant outfit during the initial interrogation.
The law enforcers also recovered books, leaflets under their possession.
RAB sources, quoting confessional statements of the arrestees, said that Osman Bhuiya, who was a driver by profession, was involved with the militant group through Shohag Haldar, a leader of the outfit.
Shohag is the coordinator of Narsingdi district unit of Ansar Al Islam. Ramzan Ali Chowdhury joined the militant outfit 18 months ago.
A case will be filed against them under the Anti-terrorism Act.
