Synesis IT achieves ISO 27001: 2013 certificate
The award was given to the company in recognition of the proper implementation of the process of ensuring control of the organisation's information risk management
Synesis IT Ltd, a leading Bangladeshi ICT and e-governance, tele-health and call centre solution services provider has recently achieved ISO 27001: 2013 certification.
The award was given to the company in recognition of the proper implementation of the process of ensuring control of the organization's information risk management, following the International Information Security Management Framework, according to a press release.
In that case, ensuring the security of users' information connected to the internet including social media has become a very important issue. Synesis has been working very hard on this and has gained this recognition as a result, the press release said.
Shohorab Ahmed Chowdhury, managing director of Synesis IT, said, "This has been made possible by the tireless work of all the staff and team members of Synesis IT. I hope that this success will continue in the future as well."
Synesis IT has already implemented several of the most important projects in the country using their solid security management framework and has been managing information and cyber security continuously till now.
Among such projects are BTRC's "Central Biometric Verification and Monitoring Platform", NBR's "E-TIN" and A2I's "ekpay" service.
The certificate was handed over by Saiful Islam Manik (Consultant Training and Accounting Department-American and Canadian Consultant) to Shohorab Ahmed Chowdhury, managing director, Synesis IT.
Synesis IT Director Md Harun-ur-Rashid, Chief Executive Officer of Synesis Health and Public Health Specialist Dr Nizam Uddin Ahmed, GM and Head of Department (Business) Tanvir Alam; Project Manager Md Noor A Alam and senior officials and employees of Synesis IT were also present on the occasion.
Synesis IT was previously recognized by CMMI Level 3 certification in recognition of international standard capabilities in software development, the press release further said.
