Red Hot Chili Peppers: Guitarist Jack Sherman dies at 64
Former band member of Red Hot Chilli Peppers and renowned guitarist Jack Sherman has passed away

Red Hot Chilli Peppers announced through tweet that former band member and renowned guitarist Jack Sherman has passed away at the age of 64. The cause of the death still hasn't been disclosed.
The tweet from the official band account read, "We of the RHCP family would like to wish Jack Sherman smooth sailing into the worlds beyond, for he has passed. Jack played on our debut album as well as our first tour of the USA."
Jack Sherman was the 2nd guitarist to join the band and played on their debut album titled the same as their band name. The guitarist even co-wrote most of their second album.
Controversy surrounded the guitarist when in 2012, Sherman wasn't inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with the other members.
The Hall of Fame stated that this was because only original members, current members and those who played on multiple albums were eligible for induction.
However, Sherman was deeply revered by the band, fans and others in the industry. Sherman has worked alongside great artists such as- Bob Dylan and George Clinton.
