The authorities will take legal action in cases of flying unauthorised drones in Bangladesh's airspace.

The Inter Service Public Relation (ISPR) Directorate delivered the warning through a media release on Thursday.

It stated, "Recently, flying of unauthorised drones has been noticed in the airspace of Bangladesh. It is violation of the Drone Registration and Flying Guideline, 2020 and a punishable offense.

"All have been directed to abide by the guidelines in public interest. Otherwise, legal action will be taken," added the release.
