His two-year term will begin on August 14

Forkan elected Cox’s Bazar Development Authority chairman for third term

Lieutenant Colonel (retired) Forkan Ahmad has retained his authority as the chairman of the Cox's Bazar Development Authority for a third term.

The matter was confirmed in a gazette notification signed by Md Aliur Rahman, deputy secretary of the Public Administration's Contract and Foreign Employment branch. 

On August 13, the tenure of Forkan's second term will expire and his third term of two-years will start the following day.
