Police on Wednesday arrested a fake survey officer of Dhaka North City Corporation Estate Department for his alleged involvement in cheating with various people.

The arrestee was identified as Md Amin Mia, 47, son of Md Abdur Rashid hailing from Sang Dakhiganj under Kotwali Thana of Rangpur district, police said.

Being informed, police detained him from East-Badda area on Wednesday morning while he was trying to flee the scene sensing the presence of police, Badda police sources said.
