Under 19 starlets called up for practice match

The two-day practice match is scheduled to start at the BKSP on 18-19 February 2020.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Sunday announced a 13-member squad for a two-day practice game against Zimbabwe including six members of Bangladesh U-19 team that won the ICC World Cup recently.

The six players are- Akbar Ali, Parvez Hossain Emon, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Shoriful Islam, Shahadat Hossain, and Tanzid Hasan Tamim.

The match will begin on February 18 at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP).

Zimbabwe national team arrived in Dhaka on Friday evening. They had their first practice session in Bangladesh today morning.

The series will begin with the one-off Test on February 22 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. After that, both teams will travel to Sylhet to play the three-match ODI series.

The ODIs will be held on March 1, 3, and 6. Then the teams will come back to Dhaka to play two T20Is on March 9 and 11.

The first two matches of the ODI series will begin at 1 pm while the last one will start at 2 pm.
