Chelsea have scouted Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez. Frank Lampard is desperate to improve his calamitous defence and wants to bring in the Uruguayan to sure up at the back. (The Telegraph)

 

Torres Sane Saga

Manchester City look to replace Leroy Sane with current Valencia man Ferran Torres. The player wants to play under Pep Guardiola and is keen on a move to the Premier League. Negotiations could be easy for Man City as his contract is set to expire next season.(The Telegraph)

 

Club confirmation

Leeds United have signed 20 year old loanee goalkeeper Illan Meslier from Lorient on a permanent three year deal.

 

Cadiz have announced the signing of former Manchester City and Valencia forward Alvaro Negredo.

 

Sancho replacement

Borussia Dortmund have lined up a bid for Werder Bremen winger Milot Rashica as a possible replacement for Jadon Sancho should the Englishman move to Manchester United. The Kosovan international has a $44m release clause. (The Telegraph)

 

Back to England

Former Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye could be on his way back to the Premier League with Manchester United interested in the current PSG star. The midfielder  has also been linked with a move to Nuno Espirito Santo's Wolves. (Le10Sport)

 

Heir to Fernandinho

Manchester City are considering a move for AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer. The Citizens are eager to have another leading figure in the dressing room, with Fernandinho nearing the end of his career. (Le10Sport)

 

Homecoming

Southampton are eager to re-sign Adam Lallana when he leaves Liverpool. The 32 year old has also attracted interest from Leicester, Burnely and Newcastle. (The Express)

 

Rabiot's escape

Adrien Rabiot could part ways with Italian giants Juventus. The Old lady could use the Frenchman as a makeweight in a bigger deal but he has also attracted interest from Everon, Newcastle and Manchester United. (Calciomercato)

 

Zidane will leave

Real Madrid goalkeeper Luca Zidane is expected to leave the club when his current contract at the end of July. Son of manager Zinedine Zidane, the 22 year old could move back to Ligue 1 with Montpellier as the prime candidates to sign him. (AS)
