Taiwan Masters: Siddikur shares 8th slot after first round
Siddikur carded three birdies against one bogey to share 8th slot along with other eight golfers.
Bangladesh premier golfer Siddikur Rahman made a good start in the US$ 900,000 Mercuries Taiwan Masters as he shared 8th slot with eight other players after the first round at the Taiwan Golf and Country Club on Thursday.
The two-time Asian Tour winner Siddikur traded two-under-par 70, three behind the joint leaders Miguel Tabuena of Philippines, Nicholas Fung of Malaysia and Keith Horne of South Africa, who scored 67 to share the top slot in the first round.
Siddikur carded three birdies against one bogey to share 8th slot along with other eight golfers -- Itthipat Buranatanyarat, Huang Hsiang-hao, Rory Hie, Yeh Wei-tze, Panuphol Pittayarat, Nitithorn Thippong, Pavit Tangkamolprasert and Chikkarangappa S.
A total of 121 golfers from all over the world were taking part in the meet where the champion will get a prize money US$180,000.
