Duronto Television is all geared up to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Victory day with special programmes on liberation war.
Their wide range of programs starting from movies, dance programs, and discussions on liberation war will surely entertain the audience on this month of victory, according to a press release.
Here are some details about the program which will be shown on Duronto TV:
Special programme about the liberation war 'Muktijuddher Kotha'
The main objective of this programme is to present the liberation war in front of our new generation. In 5 episodes 5 guests will discuss their experiences during that time. Each episode will start by highlighting the history with the footage of the Liberation War. Questions about the liberation war will be answered with the five episodes. K.M. Iqbal, Sultana Kamal, Birprotik Captain Alamgir Sattar, Mamunur Rashid and Nasiruddin Yusuf Bachchu will be guests on the programme. The programme is said to be directed by Md. Tofail Sarkar. It will be broadcasted from 13th of december to the 17th December, at 9:30 pm, on Duronto Television.
A special programme, 'Amra Tomader Bhulbo Na', to commemorate the Martyred Intellectuals
Numerous intellects were brutally killed by the Pakistani Military and their associates on December 14th, 1971. The Martyred Intellectuals Memorial was built to pay tribute to the martyrs. Seven friends are set to visit the place with two sons of a martyred intellectual. The friends will get to know the history of that cruel day through simple yet extraordinary stories.
A special programme will be broadcast on Duronto TV on the occasion of Martyred Intellectual Day. This programme is directed by Fahima Ahmed Chaity and will be broadcasted on Duronto Television on December 14th, Monday at 5.00 pm.
Special Dance Programme 'Priyo Bangladesh'
Dance programme 'Priyo Bangladesh' has been conducted by Dance Artist Warda Rehab. In this programme, songs like "Chol chol chol", "Je deshete shapla shaluk", "Dheetang dheetang bole", "Ekti Bangladesh", "Shona Shona Shona Loke Bole Shona" will be performed by various dance artists from Dhriti Nartanaloy.
Directed by Partha Pratim Haldar, the programme will be broadcasted on Duronto Television on December 13th and December 17th, Sunday and Thursday at 5.00pm.
Special Dance Programme 'Mukti'
Dance Artist Mahabub Hossain will conduct this programme. Alvia, Abiya, Samia, Ektina, Orny, Irana, Adrita and Shreya have participated in various dances. The children will dance to the songs of Liberation war and the songs aired from the Shadhin Bangla Betar to encourage the freedom fighters.
Directed by Partha Pratim Haldar, the programme will be broadcasted on Duronto Television on December 15, Tuesday at 5.00pm.
'Bijoyer Golpo' on Duronto Television on Victory Day
Actor Raisul Islam Asad fought against the Pakistani soldiers during the Liberation war. He was invited by Duronto Television to share his experiences through the story of victory, the liberation movement and stories of war with a group of children at the National Martyrs Memorial. The children will get to know about the architects of the Liberation War and all questions asked by the children will be answered by the revered freedom fighter. The stories will help them envision the incredible sacrifices made by the freedom fighters as well as display the courage that was shown during the war.
The programme, 'Bijoyer Golpo' with visits to the National Martyr's Memorial and war stories will be broadcasted on Duronto Television. Directed by Mehedi Hasan Shadhin, it will be broadcasted on 16th December, Wednesday at 5:00 pm.
Television movie 'Meghnar-71' on Duronto Television
Meghna was named after the river by her parents. She is ever-so curious about everything and has plenty of questions for her parents. This is how Meghna has been since she was a child. The Liberation War started in 71 during her childhood. The telefilm 'Meghnar-71' is based on her experience during the war. The effect of war on Meghna was depicted in this film in a child friendly manner.
Written and directed by Shamim Akter, 'Meghnar-71' will be broadcasted on Duronto Television on 14th December and 16th December, Monday and Wednesday, at 3 pm. Artists in this television movie include Bonna Mirza, Shams Ud Doha, Sadia Yusum Brita, Kiana, Shahid Bahadur, Enahum Hasan Akash and Moumita Mehezabin Orpa.
'Amar Bondhu Rashed' on Duronto Television
The movie 'Amar Bondhu Rashed' will be broadcast on Duronto Television on 14th December and 16th December, Monday and Wednesday, at 10.00pm on the day of Victory Day.
Based on a novel for adolescents by Dr. Mohammad Zafar Iqbal, the film narrates the courage and patriotism of a teenager in 1971. Monon Chalachitra and Impress Telefilm Ltd. have jointly produced the film. This film is directed by Morshedul Islam.
The film narrates the story of Rashed, a student in the eight grade, who lives in a small town. The Liberation War breaks out and Rashed along with his friends get involved with the resistance movement. They start helping the freedom fighters.
The young cast includes Chowdhury Joyita Afnan, Raihan Iftesham Chowdhury, Rifayet Zinnat, Faiyaz Bin Zia, Likhon Rahi, Kawsar Abedin and Kazi Raihan Rabbi. Seasoned actors Raisul Islam Asad, Pijush Bandopadhaya, Wahida Mallick Jolly, Gazi Rakayet and Dr. Enamul Haque have played the leading roles in the film.
