International Writing Program under University of Iowa
The IWP's massive open online courses offer opportunities for interactive learning in creative writing and literature. MOOCs offer prerecorded video lectures provided by contributing authors, including IWP Fall Residents and University of Iowa professors. The course is free of any cost, and an entirely optional certificate of completion may be purchased at the end of the course for $60.
Creative Writing Specialization
Created by Wesleyan University, the program consists of four courses. The programme covers elements of three major creative writing genres: short story, narrative essay, and memoir. It culminates in a challenging capstone project in which you'll draft, rewrite, and complete a substantial original story in the genre of your choosing. The course takes about six months to complete. Salvatore Scibona, Amy Bloom, Brando Skyhorse and Amity Gaige teach the four courses.

Storytelling 101: Character, Conflict, Context, Craft
The course is a short 40 minutes class. The class will break down the fundamentals of narrative storytelling and what makes a story different from a mere anecdote. Malcolm Gladwell Masterclass
The class contains 24 video lesson and a total of five hours' course material. You will learn how to find, research, and write stories that capture big ideas. This is Gladwell's first-ever online class, where he analyzes his own works to reveal his unique creative process.
