MetLife installs solar system to meet 10% of head office power needs
MetLife Bangladesh has installed a 104-kilowatt on-grid solar panel system at its Motijheel head office, enabling the company to generate up to 10% of its electricity needs from solar power.
The initiative strengthens MetLife's commitment to energy efficiency and sustainable operations, while supporting Bangladesh's national drive towards renewable energy. Commercial rooftop solar projects can play an important role in accelerating the adoption of clean power across the country.
MetLife has been serving Bangladesh for more than 74 years and continues to upgrade its workplace through modern and sustainable improvements.

The technical implementation was carried out by Business Division 4 of Sena Kalyan Sangstha, ensuring strict compliance with national grid connection standards.
