Tk100 crore allotted for health science research
The government has proposed a Tk100 crore fund to finance the activities for the development of research in health-education, science and technology.
"The Integrated Health-Science Research and Development Fund" will be managed by a dynamic committee to ensure the efficient and effective use of the fund.
The high-powered committee will consist of experienced researchers in the health sector, nutritionists, public health experts, sociologists, economists, environmentalists, civil society and other suitable representatives.
