The Probaho project of BAT Bangladesh which provides safe drinking water, celebrated its 12-year completion as well as world water day on Monday.
It has installed 110 filtration plants to make water free from arsenic and other harmful contents across arsenic-prone areas in the country, according to a press release.
All the water filtration plants now purify around 560,000 litres of drinking water, meeting the need of around 270,000 people every day.
Probaho is now installing water filtration plants in remote hilly areas of the country, as well as in islands like St. Martin with the vision of facilitating the stream of purity across both highlands and islands.
