ICONE Dhaka online drawing competition in observance of the National Mourning Day

In observance of the 45th death anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Information Center on Nuclear Energy in Dhaka (ICONE Dhaka) is organising an online illustration competition, avoiding any public gathering.

This competition will be dedicated to the Father of the Nation- Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The participants will have to illustrate on the computer (digital drawing) or draw on paper a portrait of Bangabandhu or his recognisable silhouette. The drawing must include a remark or a slogan related to Bangladesh's future journey in the nuclear world. The remark/slogan should reflect the boldness and ambitious attitude of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The competition will start on August 15, 2020 on the National Mourning Day and will continue until August 29, 2020. After receiving all the drawings, the jury will select the winners (in the beginning of September).

The participants need to fill up a Google form. The illustration/drawing has to be uploaded on the same Google form on its designated place. Acceptable forms of illustrations are .ai, .eps,.jpg, .tiff, .cdr. For paper drawing, a well scanned copy in .pdf format is acceptable.

For details and participation one need to follow the link
https://forms.gle/ctQxFzULkLf46wRM7 or visit the ICONE Dhaka Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/iconedhaka

The winner will receive an e-book reader along with other souvenirs.  There will be prizes for the 1st and 2nd runner ups as well. ICONE Dhaka, supported by Russia's state atomic energy corporation Rosatom organises regular online events for people of all ages to promote science and nuclear technology and has been continuing the same even during the pandemic.
