Chhatai is providing dedicated home salon service for men in Dhaka and Chattogram city. It is the first dedicated men's home salon service in the country.
One can avail the service by inboxing the company on its Facebook page (www.facebook.com/chhataibd) as per one's preferred time and need. The service costs Tk500 per person.
Chhatai staff arrives at the customer's home within an hour of ordering the service. When the customer delivers a chair from his home, these workers do the necessary setup. At the end of the job, they leave the cut hair and other waste in the dustbin.
Operating their activities from Niketan in Dhaka, the company also provides immediate service during a shoot.
Chhatai started their activities in Dhaka city in July and Chattogram city on 1 October with the motto "No Satisfaction, No Pay."
Chhatai officials said they have provided services to 700 homes so far. At present, the company is serving more than 30 customers every day, which stands at 50-70 on Fridays and Saturdays.
Currently, the company accommodates 20 employees who have more than 15 years of experience in hairdressing, and serve from 9am to 10pm every day. The workers work on a salary and commission basis.
Irteza Ahmed Anik, the co-founder of the company, told The Business Standard, "We provide our services with 100% confidence. That is why we tell customers "No satisfaction, no pay." We have already been able to gain the confidence of fashion-conscious and confident men."

The company will soon expand its service through its own app. Although they are currently working for men, they have plans to offer services for women next year.
