GP apologies to users for service interruption
Grameenphone has issued an apology to their customers following several interruptions in their telecom and mobile internet services throughout Tuesday.
A number of Grameenphone users faced call drops and slow internet speed Tuesday followed by a complication in the optical fiber connection.
The authority sent out SMSs to its customers Wednesday apologising for the trouble. It also instructed users to restart their devices to fix the problems.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused to the telecommunication service due to cutting the optical fiber. All our services have been operational since midnight. If you are still facing any problem, please turn off your mobile," the SMS said.
Grameenphone on Tuesday acquired an additional 10.4 MHz spectrum in the auction hosted by Bangladesh Telecommunications Regulatory Commission.
