Train communication from Dhaka to Sylhet is again disrupted on Saturday after a bogie of the Kalni Express got derailed from the track in Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar district.

Mughibuddin Ahmed, assistant station master of Kulaura junction said the train is now trapped at the railway station.

He confirmed that no one got injured in the incident. However, many passengers jumped out of the train after being terrified.

Senior officials of Sylhet Railway arrived immediately to investigate the incident. Rescue operation is underway with full force to restore the bogie. The train will resume its journey for the scheduled destination after the recovery.

On Friday, two wheelers of a bogie got detached from Jayantika express in the same place.
