16 kg gold seized at Shahjalal Airport

Customs and DGFI have seized at least 16 kg of gold bars from a fruit cart at Shahjalal Airport. The gold was brought from Hong Kong under the guise of a fruit consignment from a company called 'Food Link'. The incident is under investigation.
