Prof Farida gets Sultan Swarna Padak 2020

Dr Farida Zaman, professor at the Department of Drawing and Painting of Dhaka University's Faculty of Fine Arts, has received this year's Sultan Swarna Padak 2020 for her contribution to art.
State Minister for the Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Ministry Swapan Bhattacharya handed over the medal at an event held at Sultan Mancha in Narail on Monday evening.
On the occasion of his 96th birth anniversary on January 27, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy organised a discussion on his life and activities.
