No more cattle market on playgrounds: Mayor
Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh said they will not allow setting up any cattle market ahead of Eid-ul-Azha on Dhaka South playgrounds.
"The playgrounds will be dedicated to sports only. Besides, those fields will be modernised so that the elderly citizens can use those for walking," he told a press conference at the Nagar Bhaban in the capital Thursday.
