5 suspects held over gang rape at Kamrangirchar
Police made the arrests following a raid at different parts of the area
The police have arrested five people including four alleged rapists in connection with a case filed for gang rape of a 13-year-old girl in Kamrangirchar area of Dhaka on Thursday night.
"The arrestees are Hasan, Sifat, Sabuj and Rony, and all of them are aged around 18. Police also arrested a 14-year-old girl, who reportedly helped the four to lure in the victim," said ABM Moshiur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Kamrangirchar police station.
Police made the arrests following a raid at different parts of the Kamrangirchar area, after the victim's mother lodged a case over the incident.

The police official added that the victim knows every accused.
"Four people, with the help of a female friend of the victim, took the girl to the first floor of a two-storey under construction building in Rasulpur area and gang-raped her between 6:30pm and 8:00pm on Thursday," said OC Moshiur Rahman.
The girl was later admitted to the One Stop Crisis Centre of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
