Child dies as covered van hits motorcycle

A five-year-old boy died and his father was injured after a covered van hit a motorcycle in Akbar Shah Police Station of Chatogram on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Minhaj Islam.

Officer-in-Charge of Akbar Shah Police Station Mustafizur Rahman said the accident took place on Monday evening when a covered van rammed the motorbike from behind. Seated behind his father,

Minhaj suddenly fell and died on the spot.

Minhaj's father Ripon Sheikh sustained injury in the accident, the OC added.
