Of the seven victims, six died on the spot while one breathed his last on the way to hospital

Seven people, including six members of one family, have been killed following a collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto rickshaw near Mulkandi area of Daulatpur upazila of the district. 

All the victims were headed towards Manikganj, boarding the CNG-run auto rickshaw when the accident took place around 3:15pm Friday, Rezaul Karim, officer-in-charge of Daulatpur police station told The Business Standard. 

The deceased are: Harekrishna Badyakar, 55, and his son Gobinda Badyakar, 28; his daughter-in-law Babita Badyakar, 25; his grandchild Radhe Badyakar,4; his cousin Ram Prasad Badyakar, 30, and the auto rickshaw's driver Zamal Sheikh, 30, from Chashabhadra village of Tangail. 

The corpses are being kept in the Daulatpur Upazila Health Complex. Procedures to file a case regarding the accident are underway, Hasmat said.
