শেরপুর থেকে ময়মনসিংহ পর্যন্ত ৪৪ কিলোমিটার সড়কে চলছে বিকল্প পাইপাস মহাসড়ক। কিন্তু জমি অধিগ্রহণ জটিলতায় আটকে আছে এই সড়কের উন্নয়ন কাজ। ফলে বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে সময় ও প্রকল্প ব্যয়।
