Cockroach Janta Party founder down with typhoid, refuses to end protest against Indian education minister
India's National Testing Agency (NTA) has dismissed 47 officials.
Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has said he has been diagnosed with typhoid but vowed to continue the movement demanding the resignation of India's Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged examination paper leak scandal.
"Have been diagnosed with typhoid, but the fight will go on until Dharmendra Pradhan resigns!" Dipke wrote in a post on X today (25 July).
Dipke has been leading street protests calling for accountability over the alleged leaks of competitive examination papers.

In a separate video message, he thanked CJP supporters, whom he referred to as "cockroaches", for holding peaceful protests across the country and credited them with the movement's success.
Meanwhile, India's National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts competitive examinations, has dismissed 47 officials as part of an overhaul following the controversy surrounding the alleged National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) paper leak and other examination-related irregularities, according to Indian media reports citing sources.
