The Uber Rides services will remain operational

Uber Eats, food ordering and delivery platform of Uber, will discontinue its services in Bangladesh from June 2, after one year of partnering with local restaurants for food delivery services to the customers.

"This continues as per our strategy of focusing our energy and resources on our top Eats markets around the world," an Uber Eats spokesperson said.

The Uber Rides services, however, will remain operational.

"Our number one priority now is to do everything possible to minimise the impact on our valued employees, restaurant partners, delivery partners and consumers who have supported us," the spokesperson further said thanking entire Uber Eats Bangladesh community for their support.
