Dish cable users urged to install set top box by 30 Nov

The ministry urged subscribers to digital cable instead of analogue with the help of their service providers at their earliest convenience

The dish cable users in Dhaka and Chattogram have been urged to install a digital set top box instead of manual method by 30 November as the cable network of the two cities is going to be digitalised by this time.
The dish users will no longer be able to watch satellite channels without the set-top box after 30 November, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry said in a public notification here today.
The customers have also been urged to take help from the cable/feed operators in this regard.
