The biggest advantage of an e-book has to be the fact that it is available on a device that you probably cannot leave the house without

Ask any bibliophile, and they will tell you that there is something very cathartic about reading and collecting books. However, while traditional books will always have a special place in the heart of an avid reader, even they will have to agree that an e-book does have a whole host of advantages.

Unlike a physical book, an e-book takes up no space. Not physically, at least. While it will take up some space on your phone, it will be a few MBs at the most, which should not concern most people. It will also not weigh anything, so you will have more space in your bag to carry other things.

Another thing to note is that an e-book usually costs less than a physical book. This should be music to the ears of any bargain hunters who are always on the lookout for a great deal. Not only that, but e-books can be bought at any time. All you need is an internet connection, and you are good to go. According to OpenSignal's most recent Mobile Network Experience report, Airtel offered the best download speed experience in India. (Analysis in Opensignal Insight link, published in October 2019. © 2019 Opensignal Limited). Thus, Airtel subscribers can quickly download a book and start reading. Sure beats planning a trip to the bookstore and then hoping that they have the book with them.

The biggest advantage of an e-book has to be the fact that it is available on a device that you probably cannot leave the house without. Namely, your smartphone. While there are dedicated e-readers available in the market, a smartphone is perhaps the most convenient as:

-You most probably already have a smartphone

-You usually always have your phone with you in your pocket

In fact, the only thing you will need is an app that will help you read those books. Airtel offers its own app called Airtel Books. The app features a catalogue of books that subscribers can browse through. In fact, select subscribers can get access to the Reader's Club as part of the #AirtelThanks program. As such, your smartphone might just be the perfect e-reader for you.

So, the question remains. Which book should you read first? Thankfully, the guys over at Goodreads recently announced the winners of its 11th Annual Goodreads Choice Awards. Here are five books chosen by readers as the best of the year along with their respective genres.
