The match will now be played on Thursday at Bert Sutcliffe Oval, Lincoln.

Persistent rain on Wednesday forced the organisers to reschedule the 2nd youth ODI of the five-match series between Bangladesh and New Zealand U-19.

The match will now be played on Thursday at Bert Sutcliffe Oval, Lincoln.

Bangladesh are leading the series 1-0 after winning the first match by six wickets on Sunday at the same venue.

Pacer Shoriful Islam and Mrittunjoy Chowdhury were the main architects of Bangladesh's first win, bagging three wickets each to bundle New Zealand for 176.

In reply, Bangladesh captain Akbar Ali hit an unbeaten 65 and helped Bangladesh reach the target with six wickets and more than ten overs in hand.

The remaining matches of the series, scheduled for Oct 3, 6, 9 and 13, will be played at the same venue.
