Women’s A Cricket: Bangladesh-India first T20 match abandoned

The first T20 of the three match series between Bangladesh Women's A and the touring India Women's A was abandoned due to rain at Sheikh Kamal International Stadium in Cox's Bazar on Friday. 

The remaining matches of T20 series are scheduled on October 12 and 14 at the same venue.

Earlier, Bangladesh were whitewashed in the three-match one–day series against touring India Women's A team 0-3 in Chattogram. 

To claim the series, the 2nd string Indian women's team beat Bangladesh women's A team by eight wickets in the first match,  by 68 runs in the second match and by seven wickets in the third match.
