Bangladesh will be eager to bag at least a win after 31 straight losses against New Zealand on their home soil.

Bangladesh have had 31 straight losses in New Zealand now. They still have one match to go in the tour on Thursday and left-arm batsman Soumya Sarkar believes a win is very much possible if the team performs well in all three departments together.

Soumya had a tremendous day with the bat in the second T20I in Napier. He blasted 51 off 27 deliveries when his team needed a mammoth 171 runs to chase from 16 overs in a curtailed match.

The southpaw, however, said that the team is not performing together in all three departments which is the base to win a match.

"Some days bowlers are doing well, some days the batters. We can beat anyone if we perform together in all three departments," said Soumya during a virtual press brief on Wednesday.

"We couldn't click as a team throughout the series. Had we clicked together in all three departments, victory could have come earlier," he added.

Bangladesh have only one match left in the series. They will be eager to bag at least a win after 31 straight losses against New Zealand on their home soil.

Soumya believes it's possible.

"It is possible. We only have one match left. All we have to do is perform well in batting, bowling and fielding. And if we can perform well in all three departments, I believe we can win tomorrow's match," a hopeful Soumya concluded.

The teams will lock horns at Auckland tomorrow in the final match of the tour.
