Mustafizur Rahman was having a great time in the ongoing Dhaka Premier League (DPL) T20. The left-arm pacer of Prime Bank Cricket Club took 13 wickets in six innings in seven matches. He also played in the seventh round match, although he did not bowl in that match.

After that Mustafiz did not play any more matches.

Why is Prime Bank fighting without the team's best bowling weapon? It was found out that he is not able to play due to a back injury, the old back pain.

Prime Bank Cricket Club Manager Sikder Abul Kashem confirmed the matter.

He said, "Mustafiz is not playing because he is not fit. We put him to rest because of his back pain. Hopefully, he can play from the next round."

Mustafiz's injury is being monitored by the BCB's medical department. He is currently under observation.

BCB chief physician Debashish Chowdhury said, 'We saw Mustafiz yesterday. The report has not reached us yet. I'll get it today. Then the details can be told."

He took 5 wickets for 22 runs against Mohammedan Sporting Club on 5 June which was the second best bowling of his T20 career.

Although Mustafiz is not playing, his team Prime Bank is in a good position. The club is at the top of the table with 14 points from 7 wins in 9 matches .
