Walton title sponsor of Bangabandhu T20 Cup

The news was made official via a press release from Walton which stated that the T20 tournament will be called 'Bangabandhu T20 Cup sponsored by Walton'.

Walton has become the official title sponsor of the Bangabandhu T20 Cup which begins from Tuesday.

Walton are a regular sponsor in domestic cricket and keep their name involved in local sports.

The tournament which begins on 24 November will end on 18 December with five teams battling it out for the trophy at the Sher-e-Bangla national cricket stadium in Mirpur.

Walton's executive director Uday Hakim said in the press release that Walton were "proud to be part of such a tournament as cricket returns from the Covid-19 hiatus".
