Tigers unveil new kits
Bangladesh cricket team will now be wearing kits with name and number on the back in the longer format.
Bangladesh Cricket Board has released brand new jerseys of Bangladesh cricket team which features the name and number of the players on the back.
Putting name and number on the test kit is a new addition in Test cricket. First used in the first Ashes Test. Since then, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, India, and West Indies all have donned the same and now it's the turn of Shakib and his men.
The name and the numbers are written in green on the back, identical to Bangladesh's kit color in the shorter format.
The players have retained their numbers from the shorter formats, whereas Shadman Islam, who is yet to play in the limited-overs format, has taken up number 10.
Bangladesh will officially inaugurate the new kit on the 5th of September when they play against Afghanistan in the solitary test at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
