Tigers look for final berth against Windies

What a win could do for each team:

On the other hand, the Tigers had persistent rain wash out their last game against the hosts without even the toss taking place but in the series opener, they displayed a solid all-round performance against the Windies. They will be looking to continue where they left off in the last game.

A victory for the men in red and green would almost certainly guarantee them a place in the final while the team from the Caribbean have booked themselves a spot in the final after their last win against the hosts.

How the teams could line up:

The Bangladesh head coach Steve Rhodes previously spoke of giving the squad players like Farhad Reza and Yasir Ali a match, but with a spot in the final on the line, the management might go with the strongest possible XI.

There has also been talk of fast bowler Taskin Ahmed being drafted into the World Cup squad and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Islam spoke of giving him a few games in the series before making a final decision.

Windies might have a selection dilemma as far as the World Cup is concerned as Sunil Ambris scored his maiden ODI hundred and a string of consistent performances here could book him a spot for the squad that goes to England.

Captain Jason Holder will also be hoping for a better showing from his fast bowlers as both Sheldon Cottrell and Kemar Roach went for over 120 runs in their 20 overs taking just one wicket against Ireland. They also failed to take a single wicket against the Tigers as Roach went for over six runs an over.

Conditions:

With summer set to arrive, conditions will be much clearer and little to no chance of rain. Temperatures will also be a cool 17 degrees during the day though it will be much cooler and drop down to seven degrees at night. Overall, it should be good cricketing conditions and given how this has been a run fest so far, they batsmen should be expected to make hay while the sun shines.

29 wickets - Kemar Roach has taken the most number of wickets when he has faced the Tigers, although he has struggled this series. Bangladesh Captain Mashrafe Mortaza follows closely behind in the list with 27 wickets and could be topping the list after this game given his recent form.
