The Business Standard looks at the hottest and the most reliable transfer rumours around the footballing world along with the biggest club confirmed transfers.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is set to battle Everton for the signature of 23-year-old Bilbao defender Unai Nunez. The Spaniard is also looking to bring in former Nice defender Malang Sarr on a free but faces competition from RB Leipzig. (The Daily Star, The Express)

 

Balerdi to leave BVB

Marseille are interested in Dortmund defender Leonardo Balerdi. The 21-year-old joined the Bundesliga side in 2019. (L'Equipe)

 

Sandro replacement

Juventus are interested in Atalanta fullback Robin Gosens. The 26-year-old could be Alex Sandro's replacement if the Brazilian leaves the Old lady this summer. David Alaba and Emerson Palmieri are also seen as alternatives. (Calciomercato)

 

The race for a Catalan

Barcelona fullback Emerson has attracted interest from a whole host of clubs after impressing on loan at Real Betis. Spurs, West Ham, Everton and Inter are set to race for the 21-year-old's signature. (Estadio Deportivo)

 

Leipzig's double deal

RB Leipzig have signed Monaco fullback Benjamin Henrichs on loan along with Hee-Chan Hwang from RB Salzburg on permanent. The German joins on a season-long loan with an option to buy and the Korean joins on a five year deal for €14m. 

 

Moyes' favourite duo

David Moyes is interested in Manchester United duo Jesse Lingard and Phil Jones. West Ham will reportedly move for the pair if they stay in the Premier League next season. (The Independent)

 

Knockaert's new home

Fulham have signed Anthony Knockaert on a permanent from Brighton. The 28-year-old Frenchman joins the cottagers until 2023. 

 

Guendouzi is going

Inter, Atletico and Barcelona are all interested in Arsenal bad boy Matteo Guendouzi. All three clubs have made enquiries about the out of favour Frenchman. (L'Equipe)

 

The return to Europe

Mario Mandzukic could be back on his way to Italy following interest from Antonio Conte's Inter. The Nerazzurri are looking for a Lukaku backup and the former Bayern Munich and Juventus man could be perfect. (Gazzetta Dello Sport)

 

Godfrey's Demands

Norwich will reportedly demand up to €50m for defender Ben Godfrey. The young Englishman has attracted interest from the Bundesliga in the form of Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig. (Sky Sports)

 

Missing out on Milot

RB Leipzig could miss out on Werder Bremen winger Milot Rashica. The East German side were looking to sign the 24-year-old for €15m but Bremen are looking for hold out for €25m. (Bild)

 

Gattuso's heir

AC Milan are looking to bring Brescia star Sandro Tonali to the San Siro. The Rossoneri are ready to spend €75m for the Italian who has also attracted interest from rivals Inter Milan and Juventus. (Gianluca Di Marzio)

 

Alternative to Milik

Juventus are looking to bring Alexandre Lacazette to Turin. The Serie A champions want the Frenchman if they fail to strike a deal for Napoli's hotshot Arkadius Milik. (Calciomercato)
