This time it's an injury to the left hand of the right-arm fast bowler, which he sustained during training.

Injuries cannot stop following Bangladesh fast bowler Taskin Ahmed.

Called back into the squad for the upcoming series against West Indies, Taskin finds himself on the injury table again.

This time it's an injury to the left hand of the right-arm fast bowler, which he sustained during training.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Chief Physician Dr Debashis Chowdhury has informed The Business Standard (TBS) that Taskin might require stitches on the injured hand but nothing was decided yet.

"He (Taskin) injured his hand during practice. He had to leave and go back to the hotel, where he saw a doctor. We don't have any updates yet on how long he will be out or how bad the injury is," Dr Debashis told TBS.

The injury now puts a massive doubt over Taskin's availability for the upcoming series against the visiting Windies.

Taskin had showed an improved fitness and bowled with pace and fire in the recently concluded BCB President's Cup and was likely to be part of the first XI for the three-match ODI series which starts from January 20.
