Bangladeshi cricketers started their individual training before Eid. Back then, the players were few in number. But after Eid, the numbers have been growing with many cricketers joining the training session to return to full fitness.

Bangladesh ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal and seamer Mustafizur Rahman are the latest to join in as they will start on Sunday, August 16.

Tamim has had stomach pain in recent months and had even flown to London for treatment. He returned at the start of August and now he is set to join the training. Mustafiz, on the other hand, had been spending time at his hometown Satkhira during this lockdown.

A total of 32 players are training on seven grounds across the country in Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet, Khulna, Rajshahi, Bagura and Rangpur.

Bangladesh are set to tour Sri Lanka in October for a three-match Test series, making their return to cricket.
