Taiwan Masters: Siddikur advances to 6th position after 2nd round

The two-time Asian Tour winner scored five birdies against four bogeys to score three-under-par (70, 71) in the second round.    

Bangladeshi golfer Siddikur Rahman shared the 6th slot with four other players after the second round of the $9,00,000 Mercuries Taiwan Masters at the Taiwan Golf and Country Club on Friday.

The two-time Asian Tour winner scored five birdies against four bogeys to score three-under-par (70, 71) in the second round.    

Ajeetesh Sandhu of India reached top of the leaderboard carding seven- under-par (68, 69) while Miguel Carballo of Argentine reached the second slot with six- under-par (72, 66). Miguel Tabuena of Philippines is in the third position scoring five-under-par (67, 72).  

A total of 121 golfers from around the world are taking part in the meet where the champion will get prize money of $180,000.
