"The Sri Lankan team will arrive in Bangladesh in May. We're not going there for now. But we will go there before that, or maybe after. But both tours are confirmed. Zimbabwe tour is not certain yet, maybe we will confirm in a few days," said Akram.

Sri Lanka are set to tour Bangladesh in May this year, according to chairman of cricket operations of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Akram Khan. He also stated that the tours to Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe that were called off due to Covid-19 are still on.

"The Sri Lankan team will arrive in Bangladesh in May. We're not going there for now. But we will go there before that, or maybe after. But both tours are confirmed. Zimbabwe tour is not certain yet, maybe we will confirm in a few days," said Akram.

Akram also mentioned that the dates will be confirmed keeping many factors in mind. "Since the tour was cancelled and both the boards have to identify a suitable time, we are now thinking about it. The players will also need some rest. It's actually pretty tough for the players. This bio bubble is a tough thing for the players, so we have this in mind. We are considering all these," Akram said.
