Sohan, Khaled left out of Test squad
The first Test will begin on February 3 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
The preliminary squad for the Test series was announced on January 4. Fast bowler Khaled Ahmed and wicketkeeper-batsman Nurul Hasan Sohan have been left out of the final squad announced on Saturday. That means, the final squad for the upcoming Test series now consists of 18 members.
Shadman Islam Anik missed out against Pakistan and Zimbabwe earlier this year due to injury. The left-handed opener is going to return to the Bangladesh team with the series against the West Indies. Shakib Al Hasan is also going to return to Test cricket with this series after returning from the one-year ban.
The first Test will begin on February 3 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. The second Test will start on February 11 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
