Six Bangladeshi players included in IPL players' list

Six Bangladeshi players have enlisted themselves for the auction of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. The auction will be held in Kolkata on December 19 at Kolkata.

The six players are - Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mustafizur Rahman, Soumya Sarkar, Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Taskin Ahmed.

A total of 971 players have enlisted themselves for the auction this year. Among them, 713 are Indians and the other 258 players are from around the world.

Among the enlisted Bangladeshi players, only Mustafizur and Tamim have the experience of being included in an IPL team. Mustafizur Rahman featured for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016 and 2017, before playing for Mumbai Indians in 2018. Tamim was picked by Pune Warriors in 2012 but was not involved in any action.

Mustafizur won the 'Emerging Player of the Year' award in 2016 for picking up 17 wickets in his debut season in IPL.
