Talking to the media at BCB, Akram Khan talked about the T20 and Test squads, day-night Test match and Shakib being uncertain.

Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB) head of operations Akram Khan has said that the revised T20I squad for the India series will be announced tomorrow with the Test team being announced a few days later. 

Talking to the media at BCB, Akram Khan talked about the T20 and Test squads, day-night Test match and Shakib being uncertain. 

Akram said that the revised T20I squad will be announced tomorrow, 29th October but it will take a few more days to announce the Test side. A T20I squad was given earlier but with Mohammad Saifuddin out injured and Tamim withdrawing himself from the tour, there will be one or two alterations and that will be announced on Tuesday.

Questioned if Shakib was touring with the team, Akram Khan said that he only came to know from the media that Shakib was not touring, and there was no official decision from the board about Shakib not touring.

Reportedly, BCCI has offered BCB to play the second Test between the sides at Eden Gardens under lights. Akram said that this decision is up to the players and the management as Bangladesh have never played with a pink ball or under lights. The decision will be made after talking to the players and the management after the practise match at the national team's conditioning camp, Akram added. 

Questioned who would make the decision as the captain, Shakib, is absent from the camp, Akram replied that his decision would be taken over a phone call or any other medium possible. 

Bangladesh team will fly to India on the 30th October with their first T20I set to be held on 3rd November at Delhi.
