Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will be eiligible to play professional cricket from October 29. He started training ahead of his return in September. He was supposed to play from the second Test match in the Sri Lanka tour. Keeping that in mind, Shakib started preparing himself at the BKSP. But the tour has been postponed indefinitely.
Hence, Shakib will return to the USA where his wife and children are there. He will fly to the USA at 3.45 am tonight boarding a flight of Qatar Airways. Shakib came to Bangladesh on September 2.
Shakib trained at the BKSP for 25 days where he was assisted by two of his childhood coaches Mohammad Salahuddin and Nazmul Abedeen Fahim.
