The country's best all-rounder has begun practice after only a day's rest after returning home.

Shakib Al Hasan returned home at midnight on March 22 amidst all the controversies going around surrounding his comments against the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) a few days ago. ‎BCB officials mentioned they have to 'rethink' their decision to allow Shakib for IPL instead of national team duty in the coming month.

‎Everyone's interested to see how far the matter goes and what decision the board takes but Shakib couldn't care less. He got down to practice in Mirpur on Wednesday morning ahead of the IPL that he took the leave for.

Shakib didn't do much bowling though. He bowled for three overs before calling it a day.  He was accompanied by BCB physio Byzedul Islam.‎

‎Shakib then left the practice kit and went back to the dressing room of Mirpur Sher E Bangla National Cricket Stadium. He is currently in the dressing room.

It is still not clear whether he will start practising again after taking a  rest or if he has any meetings with the BCB officials.
