Sakib returns home in grand manner

Askar Ali, an aged man, was waiting on the road at Tajpur. Why? Because World Cup-winner Tanzim Hasan Sakib was returning. Askar was not the only one, people crowded the street to receive their prodigal son. 

Sakib returned home in a dramatic fashion standing on a bike and followed by about 100 motorcycles. Sakib returned home in the afternoon and was welcomed with people chanting his name. 

Sakib's father Gaus Uddin was proud of his son's achievement. He said, "Sakib and his team made the whole country proud. He is the prodigal son of the whole nation."

Sakib was overwhelmed with his reception. He said, "I am grateful that I could make my local people happy. This is our success."
