Saif Powertec to sponsor all 13 Dhaka Senior Division Football clubs

Saif Powertec Limited will sponsor all 13 clubs of the Dhaka Senior Division Football League ahead of this year’s football season.
As per the announcement, its Managing Director Tarafder Md Ruhul Amin handed over partial sponsorship money of Tk 1.50 lakh out of total Tk 3.50 lakh to the representatives of 10 clubs each at a function at Saif Powertec office in Mohakhali on Monday.
“These clubs are playing a vital role to produce footballers. I feel happy and proud as Saif Powertec is working for the development of the country’s football,” Tarafder said.
The 10 senior division football clubs, who received sponsorship money from Saif Powertec on Monday are: Dhaka Wanderers Club, PWD SC, Sadharan Bima Kira Sangstha, Mohakhali XI, Bangladesh Boys Club, Basabo Tarun Sangha, Badda Jagoroni Sangsad, Nawabpur Krira Chakra, Kawran Bazar Pragati Sangha and Kashaituli Samaj Kalyan Parishad.
The representatives of football clubs, who were present at the function, demanded Tk 5 lakh each for all the senior division football clubs as participation money from Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) along with some other facilities.
